Are there any monthly fees for using Zillow 3D tour?No monthly fees! You can include a Zillow 3D Home tour on your listing for free — there are no per-home, service or hosting fees.

How should I prepare a home before capturing a Zillow 3D virtual tour?
Turn on all lights, including recessed ceiling lights, floor lamps and desk lamps.
Turn off all fans, TVs and any other moving objects.
Open all the doors between rooms you intended to capture.
Remove clutter and put it in a closet or storage space you aren’t planning to capture.
Remove or cover any personally identifiable information/materials (e.g. family photos).

How long does it take to capture a 3D scan of my property?A 3D scan takes around 30 minutes to capture 3,500 square feet under ideal conditions. This can largely depend on whether the property is empty or furnished and whether any distractions or complications arise. We strive to always conduct this process as promptly and professionally as possible as we value your time and our own.

Can we move things from one room to another?
Generally, clients should prepare the property beforehand to minimize moving, as this is especially problematic if multiple services are offered during a single visit as that can necessitate back-and-forth moving that will slow down the visit.

My seller doesn’t want to include the entire home in the Zillow 3D tour. Can you skip all or part of certain rooms?
Whereas we are happy to accommodate our clients who do not want some rooms to be captured, we are unable to exclude parts of a room that are not closed off (such as closets and storage areas). Please keep in mind that if you do choose to limit access to certain parts of the property, that this could negatively affect the overall experience of the tour when clients encounter the blocked areas.

Can we edit anything on the 3D virtual tours? Can we remove items or make rooms brighter?
Unfortunately, we can not make any edits to the captures. The Zillow 3D application does not allow us to change any settings.

How many listings can I attach the 3D virtual tour to? I created two listings for a property and they’re on 2 different MLS’s.
Zillow will only embed the tour on one listing; however, you can share the same link to another listing.

Can I capture outdoor space in the 3D virtual tour?
Yes, we are able to capture outdoor spaces, but only in clear weather without excess wind. Please be sure weather conditions will be suitable for the 3D tour in advance of your appointment.

How soon will my Zillow 3D virtual tour be posted to my listing?
Your 3D virtual tour will be published right away. Please notify us via e-mail as soon as your listing is live on Zillow so we can attach the 3D virtual tour to your listing.

What is the difference between a video walkthrough tour and Zillow 3D virtual tour?
Video tours are a guided experience. Similar to any Hollywood movie, a video tour is a passive experience that allows the viewer to experience the property the way you want them to. On the other hand, 3D tours are self-guided and allow the viewer to virtually visit the property, moving through it as if they were really there.

Is there audio in the Zillow 3D virtual tour?
Zillow 3D tours do not include audio and, unlike videos, home shoppers can view them at their own pace.

Will my Zillow 3D virtual tour be posted to any other website?
Once published, your Zillow 3D Home tour will appear on Zillow and Trulia. You may also share your tour to your MLS, social media and other sites using a link or embed code.

Yes, an unpublished Zillow 3D virtual tour can still be shared to social media outlets (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn) using a link or embed code.

Can I add a room or rescan an area to an existing Zillow 3D virtual tour?
Once the scan is completed, the Zillow 3D Home app begins a complex process that integrates all of the panoramas into a single interactive VR home tour. Unfortunately, it is not possible to add rooms to a completed Zillow 3D Home tour.
We recommend having the rooms entirely as you wish it to be presented to avoid rescanning the house over again.

Can I use a Zillow 3D virtual tour in the MLS?
Yes! Every Zillow 3D Home tour includes an unbranded link that can be used in the MLS.

Will the Zillow 3D virtual tour stay on the listing forever?
Your Zillow 3D Home tour will live on the server until you choose to delete it. You can also unpublish the Zillow 3D Home tour at any time.

How can I remove a Zillow 3D virtual tour from a listing?
If you would like to unpublish and delete your Zillow 3D Home tour, you may do so from your 3D Home dashboard. You can also unpublish your tour without deleting it. We can also help by unpublishing the tour from our end.
