Clean and stage the property before the appointment. Jonathan can make light adjustments such as straightening chairs, fluffing pillows, moving a blanket, closing toilet seats, and switching off a television. Moving furniture, cleaning, and full staging are the client’s responsibility.
Please avoid moving clutter from room to room while the shoot is underway, especially when multiple services are booked. Review the pre-shoot checklist before the appointment.
Photography commonly takes 30–60 minutes. Larger properties and additional services require more time. A Zillow 3D capture of about 3,500 square feet takes roughly 30 minutes under ideal conditions, in addition to any other services booked.
The property must be ready when Jonathan arrives so the appointment can stay on schedule.

Zillow does not charge a recurring hosting fee for its standard 3D Home tours. The photography and capture service is the paid service you book with Visual Grip.
Turn on lights, switch off fans and televisions, open the doors between rooms to be captured, and clear clutter before the appointment. Remove or cover documents, personal photographs, and other private information. See the pre-shoot checklist for more preparation advice.
We can leave out whole rooms when requested before capture. We cannot selectively hide objects or an open portion of a room during a 360-degree capture. Excluding rooms may affect how smoothly a viewer can move through the tour, so discuss the plan with Jonathan first.
The panoramas do not receive the same object-removal and brightness retouching as still photographs. Prepare the space and remove private items before capture. Navigation arrows, labels, and some tour settings can be adjusted separately from the captured images.
Yes, when conditions are clear and wind is suitable. Tell us which outdoor areas you want included before booking so they can be planned into the capture.
Our current delivery timeframe is 1–2 business days after the shoot. Let us know through the contact form when the listing is live on Zillow so we can help attach the completed tour.
Tour processing and listing publication are separate steps, so attachment is not guaranteed to happen immediately after capture.
Yes. The tour can be shared through a link or embed code, including an unbranded link for MLS use. You can also share it on social media and by email. Zillow listing attachment and sharing the tour link are separate actions; contact us if you need it associated with a particular listing.
Zillow allows additional rooms and panoramas to be added after a tour has processed. Navigation and room labels can also be adjusted.
A second visit to capture additional rooms or replacement panoramas incurs an additional fee. Use our contact form to explain what needs to be captured and arrange the return visit. Having every room ready and capturing all requested areas during the first visit helps avoid that additional cost.

Yes. Our Zillow 3D tour includes Zillow’s interactive floor plan. It is a different product from the separate, detailed 2D floor plan service we offer.
Zillow creates its interactive plan from the 360-degree panoramic photographs used for the tour. Computer vision and AI estimate room dimensions and square footage from those images. The interactive plan helps viewers navigate the tour, but does not provide the same fixture and layout detail as our dedicated 2D service.
Our separate 2D floor plan service starts at $150 for up to 3,500 square feet. It includes doors, windows, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, approximate room measurements, and a clearly organized layout of the home. See the Floor Plan page for examples and pricing.
Our LiDAR and video-supported capture process collects measurement data, with approximately 97% measurement accuracy under suitable scanning conditions. Measurements remain approximate and can vary with visibility, furnishings, and capture conditions.
For a detailed floor plan to use in your listing marketing, we recommend ordering the dedicated 2D service. The interactive plan included with Zillow 3D is not a substitute for that deliverable. The two plans may show different dimensions or square footage because they are produced using different capture methods.
A video walkthrough presents a guided, edited view of the property. A Zillow 3D tour lets viewers move through the home at their own pace and does not include audio. The two formats serve different viewing preferences and can be ordered together.
